Have you had a chance to check out the website lately?  “About Me” is complete and my first ”Blog” is posted.  Please take a moment to read both, and comment if you wish.  I am thoroughly enjoying this process, and love reading your comments.  I wouldn’t have been able to do this without my wonderful computer geek husband, Rick.  Next we are working on the “Learning” section where I will share how I achieve specific elements of appliqué. Concurrently, Rick is working on the upcoming registration process. This year registration will be done online.  This not only will let the attendee know immediately if they are registered in the class of their choice, but will also allow teachers to monitor class size.  So many exciting new things – each day is a pleasure to greet.

Getting the word out, and marketing the Academy is an ongoing process.  I would GREATLY appreciate if you would all talk about the Academy at your local quilt stores, Guilds, and Bees.  Please encourage all appliquérs to go the website and register for personal updates. I have marketing materials that I would gladly mail to any quilt stores that would like them.
Let me “tease” you with this – by the end of next week, we should be able to announce a couple of new teachers, and vendors.

The class schedule with pictures of projects will be available online August 9, 2014.
Registration will begin, online, September 2, 2014.
